He realizes that he was given a knife not to hunt for food but to kill himself. Just as Ichi was about to end his own life, a wolf came and attacked him. He was astonished by his own actions and how hard he clung to life. Since then, Ichi has taught himself to hunt and shows his appreciation for all life.

Despite living alone in the mountains for so many years, Ichi has no trouble interacting with people. At the bottom of the mountains where Ichi resides, lies a village. Ichi is grateful to the villagers for accepting him and caring for him. It’s implied that the villagers help teach Ichi basic education, as he can read and write. Ichi also understands the value of money, skills, and trade. So, you cannot mistake Ichi for a mountain barbarian, but more so a country bumpkin. Even though he can socialize with the villagers and is adored by them, Ichi continues to live in the mountains, as he enjoys hunting and states that there is something he has to do still on the mountains. Regardless, the villagers seem to accept that Ichi lives off in his own world, in which Ichi is appreciative of the villagers’ hospitality.

As Ichi grew up to become a hunter, he developed sharp instincts and became sensitive to hostile and bloodlust. As a hunter and a person who almost took his own life, Ichi grew up to be a considerate and sensible person. He holds a strong conviction that killing without cause is murder. “Death for Death” is Ichi’s principle. The only ones that should be killed are those who pose a threat to humanity. This leads to Ichi developing a strong sense of justice.

Along with a strong sense of justice, Ichi also has a strong sense of accountability. It does not sit right with him. He is willing to admit that he is wrong and is compelled to make necessary corrections. Willing to take responsibility for Gokuraku, who caused issues for the Mantinel Witches Association.

Growing up alone, Ichi does not know what family or friends genuinely mean. He understands the concept of family and building a family. Despite not expressing his feelings or desires for a family, Ichi is extremely happy to be offered a family with Desscara and shows his gratitude to her by buying her a gift with the money that he has earned. Ichi also comprehends the loss of family as a heavy one, as he apologizes to Richia for the loss of her mother.

As he grew up alone and mostly focused on himself, there were a lot of emotions that he did not understand. It is something he is aware of and once stated to Gokuraku, who wanted Ichi to help him take down Bakugami. Doing things for the sake of others isn’t something he could understand too well, but for the sake of Gokuraku, whom he acknowledges as his first friend, Ichi wanted to do something for him. Even going as far as saying “use me as you need”. While Ichi has set himself out on this adventure because he wants to hunt down Majiks, he is slowly doing this for the sake of people who are suffering and being hurt.

While Ichi is not the brightest person in the world, he is clever and eager to learn and adapt. Ichi has a vast knowledge of traps to hunt animals in their natural habitats, as well as their habits, poisonous plants and mushrooms, and knows how to prep and cook the animals he has hunted down. He once met an expert fisherman in the mountains and learned techniques and knowledge about different fish. It’s implied that Ichi talks to villagers and fellow hunters to gain more knowledge.

Admitting himself as the type of person who can’t sit still for too long, Ichi can sit in a classroom and learn more about society, magic, and other worldly values. While he may not understand the complexity of certain things, Ichi has demonstrated himself to be open-minded and also shows appreciation for the people who teach him. Even so, there are some lessons Ichi doesn’t really understand. For example, Desscara taught Ichi how to turn down girls who were being pushy and touchy with him by saying, “I’m sorry, you’re not my type," without realizing what it truly means.

Ichi has honed essential survival skills, including fishing, which is vital for his sustenance while living in isolation on the mountain. He is adept at identifying and gathering safe edible plants, discerning between harmful and safe mushrooms, and has developed mastery in hunting, having developed and grasped various hunting weapons for catching large game. Additionally, he is proficient in setting various types of traps, such as pitfall traps and snares, to control or capture creatures.

Combat Skills:

Ichi showcased his combat prowess by successfully defending himself against a wolf despite being in a weakened state. Over time, he has amassed and become skilled with several hunting weapons. Ichi is shown to be nimble, fast, and can conceal his presence. Despite his “thin” appearance, Ichi is quite muscular and can easily throw down a bear with one throw.

His main weapon is his knife.

Danger Sense:

Over his years of living in the forest, around dangerous animals, Ichi has developed a keen sense for enemy bloodlust. He has been shown to react to bloodlust on pure instinct, dropping everything he's doing to go meet it. This instinct even overpowers his logic at times, leaving him unable to control his reactions. However, he is not letting his instincts control him, as his fight with Gokuraku proves that he can hold himself back from reacting to bloodlust and attacks at the points where Gokuraku said it was okay to attack. He simply states that it's his habit, that his body reacts to hostile forces.

Magic Ability

Majiks are living forces of magic with distinct personalities and powers. They interact with humanity through Trials, granting their abilities to witches who complete them.

Majiks are forces of living magic, each representing a different force, element, or concept. As living beings, Majiks each have their own personality, and are generally split into two categories: those who are friendly with humanity, with relatively easy Trials, and the Human-Hater Majiks, who are hostile to humans.

Upon acquiring a Majik, the user gains a Magic Stone, which acts as proof that they have acquired the Majik. For Ichi, it's unknown ( so far in canon ) where his Magic Stones go, either placed in his knife or somewhere on his person.

Ultra Amplification Majik:

Ichi acquired a Majik known as King Uroro, also referred to as the Ultra Amplification Majik. This Majik amplifies any magical effect to its fullest potential, making spells significantly more destructive. This magical power of King Uroro activates with the proper chant, and it functions without the need for practice or training.

This also clarifies how Ichi accidentally cast the spell "Lazud," which is originally linked to Desscaras, the Abyssal Witch. Using this spell resulted in a significant explosion that caused extensive damage to Druid Mountain.

The spells cast by Ichi are automatically amplified to their maximum strength when using this Majik. However, using this Majik can lead to severe consequences, including Ichi falling unconscious for three days after just one use.

Inazuri:

Ichi acquired the Raikou Majik, allowing him to shoot a claw-shaped lighting blast forward by making a swinging motion. The lightning is powerful enough to melt ice.

Uruwashi:

Ichi acquired the Hisame Magik, allowing him to conjure an ice shark and control it. Using this spell with Ultra Amplification allows him to make a gigantic ice shark made up of a shiver of ice sharks.

Ariadne:

Ichi acquired the Origumo Majik, allowing him to send out invisible threads, building a cage to trap and halt a target.

Bakugami:

Ichi acquired the Joyous Sorrow Majik. Its abilities are currently unknown.
